OPEN ACCESS POLICY AND DISSEMINATION OF PREPRINTS, POSTPRINTS, AND PUBLISHED VERSIONS

The journal operates on the principles of open access, which implies free and unrestricted availability of all published content to all users without the need for registration or subscription. All users have the right to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, and link to the full texts of articles without prior permission from the author or publisher, in accordance with the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY) license. This policy is consistent with the provisions of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI), according to which open access is understood as free availability of scholarly works on the public internet, allowing any user to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, index, link to the full texts of publications, transfer them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose without financial, legal, or technical barriers, except those inherently associated with access to the Internet.

All materials published in the journal are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY) license. This means that copying, sharing, distribution of materials, as well as their adaptation, modification, remixing, and creation of derivative works are permitted, provided that proper attribution to the original source is given. This includes indicating the authors, the title of the article, the name of the journal, and the presence of the CC BY license.

The open access policy provides a number of significant advantages, in particular supporting open practices of disseminating research results and encouraging authors to deposit their works in order to increase their accessibility and academic visibility. Authors are allowed to deposit any version of their article in institutional or other repositories at their discretion without embargo. This approach covers the rules for the dissemination of preprints, postprints, and final published versions and complies with open access principles.

A preprint, that is, the initial version of a manuscript before submission or peer review, is the author’s original version that has not yet undergone expert evaluation. Authors may deposit this version in any chosen repository, provided it is clearly identified as a non-peer-reviewed preprint.

A postprint or accepted author manuscript is the version of the article after peer review, which includes all revisions made as a result of expert assessment. Authors are encouraged to disseminate this version through open access platforms and repositories. In doing so, they must properly cite the journal, refrain from modifying the deposited text, and clearly indicate that this version is not the final published version.

The published version or version of record is the final official version of the article prepared and formatted by the journal’s editorial team. Authors are also encouraged to disseminate it on open access platforms and in repositories. In this case, they must ensure correct bibliographic citation of the journal and must not alter the content or file of the published material.

The editorial board monitors compliance with this policy and, in case of violations, reserves the right to apply appropriate measures. In cases of non-compliance with the established requirements, sanctions may be applied, including refusal to consider future submissions from the author.
